  • Architectural University Project Finished

This was a University Project I just finished for Zoltan Kovacs - a really good friend of mine. Nothing really to tell about. Plans and Retouching done by Zoltan, otherwise all my work. From the first spline to the last materials.
All crits and comments are greatly appreciated.

Well, i have ta say that you got there a very nice glass, and i love the shadow of it, can u post the settings please? and i think that the part between the 2 buildings (were the outside tables are) is too dark, how did you manage to get all that light inside the building? also, why is it that the roof inside the building looks lighted too? Other than that, i think it looks great!
    Best Regards.

I post the glass setting, although I dont think that it is the sort of "ultimate ass-kicker architectural glass" that one might use in any occassion. The images were done in about 3 days from the first spline to the last material settings, and all I wanted was to see whats inside with having enough reflection on the glasses - just to see that they are glasses. The equation was quite simple, and has absolutely nothing to do with vray. If you look through a glass from a dark place to a bright one you see through. If you look the other direction you see a reflection. So after a point i could set the correct amount of reflections by altering the vray lights that were put next to the glasses pointing inwards.
There was a small hdri lighting the scene besides the directional light and a 4500* image in the cylindrical environment serving for reflections.
The reflection on the bottom (elevation) image was done with photoshop

Vray Material Wrapper - Alpha Contribution set to 0.2
        -Glass (Vray Material)
        --Diffuse Color: Black
        --Reflection HSV: 0,0,60
        --Refraction HSV: 0,0,255
--Environment: big big image set to cylindrical environment.
