I like it. Watch the size of your poured concrete walls - the panel sizes (including the tie-rod holes) are too small I think. Love your desk.

It does look cool, but would any of you guys ever want to live in such a concrete cage?

            Yeah dusan, you're right
Seems like the constructor went out of money so the building was left in this "premature" state

Zero - it would be cool to see with with just daylight - no artificial lighting from fixtures. Tadao Ando type lighting!

The TFT was modeled by myself with Rhino last year (Image can be found here: http://www.3d-inferno.de/old/tft.jpg ). Unfortunately I wasn't able to model a nice mouse yet

Its just that, majority of GI, radiosity tests are done in some concrete, japanese arch, tadao ando like rooms. I must admitt i really like the way it looks, all of my lightscape tests were done with those textures , but still, i might be wrong, but there is no isolation there right? just that one concrete panel, and i saw some aparments in old JA magazines, a bedroom that looks like an alley...

Sorry i forgot to comment on image, its great, just that chair looks too plastic , are there any skylight openings, the top of the image is too bright for only those few ies and that one openning?

Yes dusan you are right. I just made the two walls that you can see in the image and I left out any ceiling or other walls. This was done to reduce rendertime and if you can imagine other openings in the room that you cant see on the image, maybe the lighting in general could make sense.
For that reason my materials are too reflective as you can see my fakes

btw: a wire can be found here

Well SoSk, there is nothing special about it. I made 4 lights:
1 direct target light for a former shadow drop through the hole (it is invisible in the final scene)
1 vray light above the desk (visible simulating a light bulb)
2 IES point lights with IES settings applied found here

But have a look for yourself to my settings.

                              My scene is quite simple:
Except of the chair, the vase and the monitor all objects are made of basic shapes and primitives. The desks are lofts, also the handles of the drawers.
The monitor was modeled with Rhino last year (seee post above), the chair is a standard smoothed poly made with box modeling.
The whole scene took about 4 hours of assembly, rendertime was approx. 2 hours.
