Hello everyone,

I present you the short film I have been working on the past year in collaboration of 3 others students.

I am a student in the french VFX school ArtFx, and I was in charge of the shading, the lighting, and the compositing.
I decided to use VRay for Maya.


Allan et Yvan, deux pilotes, partent en mission afin de tenter de renverser l'ordre établi...

Allan and Yvan, two pilots, go on a mission to try to end the chaotic current polity...

The making of is really well done too, I feel too many don't go into enough detail but I liked how you explained your whole thought process behind it too.

Hello everybody,

I just wanted you to know that the Voile Noir Short has been nominated at the Visual Effects Society in the category "Outstanding Visual Effects in a Student Project"

I am very happy with this nomination, I would have never thought ....

Of course, this would have never been possible without Chaosgroup V-Ray render engine, which I think is an amazing piece of software.

I look forward to make new projects with VRay.
