Friends house

Nice design, nice renders, almost perfect !
Except maybe close foilage and hedges that looks a little artificial.
Anyway really nice mood. great job.

[The White Balance]

Really nice work, the colour balance is great. I would agree with the DOF being a little strong. The only other thing that jumps out to me - and its more of a design comment - the handrail is really off putting with the spindle/supports not running vertically. Was this an intentional design?

Thankyou, and much agreed, I have a real hard time getting plants to look decent closeup! There are some fantastic examples here and elsewhere, but there must be some secret to getting them photorealistic.

The White Balance: Cheers, yes the DOF is simulated off a f1.4 lens @ 50mm or so, I probably pushed it manually a bit too far as well To be honest I'm not sure about the intention of the railing, but I agree the direction and general clunkiness is distracting - perhaps a budget issue?
