I posted about this a while ago, but now i finally got to upgrade to 2 and i'm still experiencing this.
This is a dirt map, but the bias effect seems to act odd. The left one has 6.0 for z bias, and the right one has 0.6. When it's at 0, it's more or less smooth, you can still pick up a hint of the low poly count on the inner tube but it's not that bad as it converges to the edge from both sides and is fluid.
The effect though seems really obvious when using bias. With a value of less than 0, just having a denser mesh helps i guess, but it still seems like it shouldn't really act like that.
On the other hand, the other effect is way more odd. I don't understand where the black color is coming from nor why, it seems like it shouldn't be there.
I am trying to make a procedural material to simulate leaks on walls, and so far i'm getting good results, but this is causing a problem whenever i encounter an arch.
