I know how you feel...my opinion is that its harder to get good results with exterior images then interior images.
in your case, i'll suggest you to start with some of your maps, to much tiling. then i would try to get more contrast, depth and dynamic in your image. Try also a different image composing if your not locked on camera placement.
hope some of this might help.
    keep the spirit up

    regards

i think one main point is that the sun and the camera are MOL facing the same target.

i would suggest you change the direction of sun in order to get more direct shadows.

apart from the tiling and AA matters, i guess i'd go for achieving a variety of dark and bright areas. maybe the facade facing the camera should not be receiving direct light etc.

are you using hdri? I recognise the background.. Hdri is great but it doesnt create good crisp shadows - and thats what your image lacks the most (contrast). I'd add a direct light in there (at the same spot as the hot spot on the hdri) and then play with the color mapping hsv expo would probably help.

That's why photographers would use a whole day to take that one good shot, if you know what I mean. Like others said, to get a more interesting image, you should have more contrast and direct shadows.

Also I think that with such a blue sky you would get different light on your building. The building looks more like lighted with a gray sky. I think if you would render this with a grayish background, the rendering would look more realistic.

See image below, some adjustments made to it in photoshop, I also found that compared to the building the grass was a bit too harsh.

BTW: I notice a strange saturated green color in the lower left windows...

Well, there is a couple of things I did:
1 reduced the saturation of the sky
2 reduced the saturation of the window blinds
3 reduced the saturation of the grass a bit and changed the hue as well. also the grass wass darkened a little to get more focus on the building.
4 increased the contrast with the levels dialog.

Seem sto me that you're standing facing the sides directly hit by sun, you can't get much contrast that way, try placing the sun somewhere so only one side is hit, maybe this right one, frontal one.

Question regarding photoshop adjustments. Did you trace around the sky and grass using the polygonal laso tool and then adjust the hue and saturation etc.?

                          Adding one more thing,

It's a 3D model you are rendering, have you tried alternative camera locations?

Move the camera around in your scene, change the objective, I think aproaching the building and using a wider lens and you'd catch a more appealing a view...

And another, move your Sun so it incides clearly more on one façade than on the other, this will help the volume to be read more easily, it will add 3Dness to tyour image.
