  • a test with vrayfur

    hello there,

here's a small test with the intern build version.
it's kinda interesting that you may hide the source of
a vrayfur-object. for those who don't believe that vrayfur
    can rendered togehter with vray-shadows...

      Great!!!!
It is becoming more and more interesting...
I like specially the overall quality, am wondering if it is improved compared wit old versions or you had to tweak the settings a little...

      and how about rendertimes?

      regards,
      Joao.

Ok here's my try at producing some grass with Vray fur object (the color isn't much accurate). I noticed some weird darker areas (triangle faces of plane object???) under grass if I use area shadows with spot light - bug maybe??

LuKa, try adding more sides to the fur strands; since the orientation of the strands is tied to the face orientation, if you have too few sides, you may get effects like these (I should probably rotate the strands randomly...)

          Best regards,
          Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
