Hi all, here's an updated piece from '07. Originally I rendered with mr, but thought I'd update it with V-Ray. Also added way more changes to the original design.

Bump a bit too high on the purple surface perhaps? (without knowing what the surface is supposed to be).

No crits - perhaps render with whatever dof f8 gives you to knock off a tiny bit of the sharpness? It's damn good though.

Thanks guys. I will have a go at DOF next time. I have yet to find good settings with even Frischluft, it always makes my scenes look like a model, or when I scale it back, it's non-existent. I'm yet to find a happy medium with ~35mm focal lengths.

Curious to see how this compares to your previous render with mr?

They aren't really comparable as I changed the scene so much, but by god was it so much easier to set-up and light than MR ever was
