    This is a submission for the Cgsociety TEN competition.

    Another personal image to develop my skills using Max, VRay, Photoshop and Mudbox.

    I also used the brilliant free Cobweb script by Joker Martini and Guruware's Ivy plugin.

    Inspired by Beksinski, it's pushing more towards Matte Painting and for me getting back to creating imagery with some meaning as opposed to client projects.

    Thanks

    Niall

      Hi Vlado

      Thanks for your comment.

      It's inspired by the artist Beksinski so, if you have a brief look at some of his work (link below) his work is surrealist, creepy stuff but incredible;

      Incidentially, I have been trying to create animated atmospherics - I looked at FumeFX but it's very time consuming to use - how does Phoenix compare ? I have had a brief look but I couldn't assess it correctly until trying it out.

      Thanks

      Niall

        nice one, I really felt the necromantic mood and the background is very cool, it seems like at anytime now a dragon can be summoned from those clouds
