  • Car's headlight.

    Hi

    This is my first attempt of creating car’s headlight. Something is wrnog there but I cant figure it out. The rendering time is very long,is there any way to reduce it? I turn GI and anti-aliasing off,but I think the bump map is the reason for this slow rendering.

    Thanks
    S

                i thought it may be obviuos .... Transparet = longer rendertime.
                and can you stop quoting .... really anoying, its only me and you here !

                  @natty:

                  @samifox:

                  it´s the bump because the light went throught the bump and also reflect in there many times...and you get nice with reflection over the bump structur.

                  do you use a standard-material or the checker-material for the bump? my test was bitmap is faster.

                      Do you use glossy refraction? This slows down rendering a lot!
