if youre only showing stills is it not better to have an online portfolio where you showcase the images at a decent res, fullscreen? your work deseves to be studied by prospective clients. here not only is the focal piece of cgi not by you, but your work is shown only filling part of the screen, often at skewed angles, with quite heavy reflections across it.
id say only do a demo reel if you have animation work to show, or at the least, show your images fullscreen and un-messed up..
my original intent was to use a fade effects, from one image, to the next. But, after looking for the right template, I thought this one was fun. I'll continue to look for something better, but more along the lines of my original idea.
maybe you can use this, but at the point where the shot is closest to each image, fade or cut to a fullscreen of the image in question.. id still have doubts about showing it to a prospective client, cos your first comments will be about the nice cgi cutscenes you did and the original way you show your work, then they comment on the work. and every time youd have to explain you didnt do that bit... unless of course you take it as your inspiration and do your own with a similar but different enough overall concept..
