33 Story Office Tower Design and Visualization - Chicago

I just wrapped up my latest design visualization project. For this project I designed and visualized the 33 story office tower in the center of this Chicago skyline photo (just to the right of the Sears Tower). The tower concept showcases a 100' diameter geodesic sphere at the top of this unique tapered tower which would house a garden in the sky. Horizontal light wells connect to the glass fins that extend horizontally from the bottom half of the tower.

I would add some slight noise in post, just to blend it a little more into the photo.

That is basically Saurons' tower ported to the 21st century Jokes aside, the garden idea sounds very interesting.

I'd also use a little gaussian blur to make the building match the background photo unless you wanted it to appear much clearer than anything around it.

Hi,

I agree with the comments here but the main problem with this image is much simpler - Your reflection is the wrong tone and colour. Please look at the glass in all the other buildings and you can see how over saturated and garish your reflection is.

I suggest you render your glass as a mask and work in 2d to ensure an accurate result. - also make sure that the glass on the lower portion of the building has a darker tone.
