    Hey that's looking really cool

My only comments is the tiles in the bathroom. You have them about 1ft x 1ft. Are they really suppose to be that big? If they are then ok but to me seems kind of big for bathroom wall tiles. usually 3"x 3" or at most 6" x 6"

Lastly the light on the right side counter seems to be a tad blown out.

    Otherwise great job, very clean.

p.s. The rooms kind of freak me out, I think its because I've been playing Silent Hill

      ..............that's really funny.......hehehe...

actually the tiles are that big......I wasn't sure at first either since they seem quite unusual in size......but they are 12"x12".......the interior designer set that up....the accent tiles (the darker brown band) are 4"x4" (actually 2 2"x2" stacked)....

as for the light on the side counter.....I think I exagerated with photoshop there....I should've left it as it was out of vray.....

thanks.......and don't play Silent Hill late at night..

very nice image, my only problem with it is that there is no direct light, i might add a bit of warmth to it if there was some sunlight coming through the windows.

what are your render times like?

        keep up the great work

I actually thought about the lighting quite a bit before doing it: either natural w/ a directlight / sun or lit more like a miniature physical model....

I decided to go with the second because the whole thing is viewed and set like a physical model...w/ out the top and cut at a certain hight.....so natural lighting through the windows would look kinda odd. If I do a view from inside w/ the ceiling on at eye level, then I'll light it naturally.........but in the end it's also a personal preference

          for an 800x600 w/
          AA = 1/2
          Imap -3/0 50/30 normThresh = 0.3 clrThresh = 0.25
          displacement map (brick)
          and blurry reflects

a little less then an hour....

The image is excellent, although you might think about "making" the beds. Just put a little displacement on it so it's not rigid, but the room is so clean that the messiness of the beds stand out to me. 2cents

              thanks.....
I trew the messy bed in there to add a little variety to the clean look.....something different.....
plus i don't like perfectly made beds......they look kinda unatural/odd...

It's very nice, but I think it's too dark overall. Simply adjust levels in photoshop and it's probabely ok then.

                bye

                  Very nice image Cocolas,

I like the soft lighting. The bathroom tiles seem a bit too reflective though, a bit too sharp reflections as well.

Well I still think it's all too dark and greyish.

This is level adjustment in photoshop, I think it has much better contrast/light after this:

The outside is to light now, but it was a very quick test , you can adjust this way better if you take a little more time!

I can see your point flipside.....although your test is a little too bright...

I'll play around w/ levels and saturation.......the shot I posted is pretty much out of max..no editing.....and as you say, post edited shots almost always look better then straight out of max.....

                        thanks for the tips,

                        paul.
