    Hello Hello,

Here is an "R&D" project I've done in my spare time. It's a reproduction of a photo of 3XN's Blue Planet aquarium. This was the first time I really properly used RT and it worked a treat even with a modest rig.

    C&C most welcome.

    Cheers,
    James

Very nice Which part did you use V-Ray RT on? Just for lighting setup?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Thanks!

Yep there are 30 or so IES lights in the scene that I used RT to get the placement right. I didn't need it for material work but I'm looking forward to using it more for the next project.

It seems VrayAmbientLight and standard lights with projection mapping are unsupported... Do you guys have plans to get these working?

VrayAmbientLight and Standard Lights with projection mapping are supported by RT on CPU.
Our developers are constantly improving Vray RT, so more and more features will be available in the future releases.

Thats a really nice image with a good feel - my only crit is that your caustic map could be a bit higher res.

              Thanks

The caustics are intended to be a "projection installation" of sorts as opposed to having been created the real way.
