    Hi guys,
Here's a hotel I'm working on. I'm still adjusting the sea water etc...but mostly I'm unsatisfied with the glass material. It reflects vray sky which is usually grayish near horizon. I could try hdri in reflect slot but I always tile them weirdly. What's the correct way?
    Any other suggestion very welcome!

    thanks

You can try changing the "sky model" type in the vray sun properties. The CIE Clear model with turbidity of around 2 will lighten up the horizon

I tried it but still the same. How come you can't really see the CIE clear sky model in material editor? It's always white. When it's on prehalem, if I reduce intensity on 0.01 I can see the nice sky.

Try putting one of these intoa vray domelight - http://www.hdrmill.com/Freebies.htm
and one of these in your env ref slot (remember to make sure the mapping is env spherical.) - http://hdrmaps.com/freebies

          Thanks....that worked
Although I don't know why CIE clear sky reflected gray. Judging by the camera angle, that glass should reflect sky on at least 30° angle.
