Playhouse two

Here, is playhouse number two, in a series of seven. It took about 3hrs to model, and now I have to color it. There will be several color options and a turntable animation for each.

Nice and neat. The roof tiles look like they are floating above the surface of the wood underneath. Looking forward to seeing the textured version.

Well, I have already spent far to much time on this, for the price I got for it. But, here it is, for your viewing pleasures.

I do have a question. What's the easiest way to render out flat, part of the model, for creating a mask. I don't want to mess with unwrapping... I just want to pick the grass plane, some of the tree trucks and maybe the concrete slab, so I can paint a mask for the grass. I remember being able to paint it right in MAX, but I also remember simply picking something and hitting render to texture. What's the best, and most direct way to accomplish this?

Looks cool. I think there are a few blades of grass pushing through the wood deck. Maybe some more saturation on the balloons ?

Only thing I'd do is dial back the glow effect and then put more variation into the slates - break up their glossiness or vary their spec, maybe a tiny bit of randomness too? Perhaps an inverted vray dirt to mak their edges slightly lighter / more worn?

I didn't get your comment, joconnell, but I agree. Here is an update, with one new color option (I am doing the colors in post). If anything else changes I'll work on the roof. Now that I see them with the border, it's a little to tight on the top.
