    Hello Group of Chaos,

After long breaks I was able to finish my next personal artwork. Finally! It’s been 2 years back when I started to work on it. Originally it was planned as a christmas present for my kids. Due to heavy workload I wasn’t able to finish until now. Hope you like it.

Scene is done in 3dsmax 2012 and rendered with Vray. Background sky, mountains are combination of photographs with a lot of over-paint work in Photoshop. For kids hair I’ve used photos aswell. Image was rendered in 3840×5455 pixels. Dedicated to my 3 little kids! Poster is on the way!

Absolutely fantastic work. The image is so well composed ! The whole thing makes me feel like a kid with an immense dream, excitement and possibility of what could be..

Did you use a script/plugin for the tiles ? It looks to me like almost everything has displacement on it. Not surprised it took so long. Well done !
          Regards

No scripts for tiles really, even it could be easier... but those were just planar surfaces to cover mostly so array was just fine. There is only standard max displacement used.

and hell yeah... like a little kid full of dreams...

This is impressive really, I really love the colors jumping out of my screen, it look great so much detail, it just fun looking each part of the scene. It remember me Miyazaki's films.

Bet your kids will love it as poster. Shoot I would where I get one

A really beautiful image which is not only technically superlative but full of feeling, style and narrative; just awesome
I cant quite get my head around the amount of detail in there to be honest - dare I ask how long this took to put together?
