Ok fixed the wood map for the critics Also added a few things.

Yes Paul lighting is hdri and the same map is used in the reflection overide but it is a bit brighter. Grain is a result of the dof, I kept the subs low for speed.

              Hi Rerender !

A V-Ray sparkle !!! So it is true ! Very cool and fun !
The link to the site is very pleasant as I have a car of the 20s
I do no longer use such sparkles, right now we use Korean sparkles...
              that fit the engine.
Do you have an old car too ???

My car is a "Peugeot", I would like to model it in order to put it in some
images but I didn't have time yet.

              Bye !

The last image really makes the wrench look sweet.

Hi Gafl my car is a '89 with 230,000 miles on it, does that count? :P

Thanks's for the nice comments all, the wrench text is displaced with a non-tiled bitmap btw.

                  Another update:

I liked the black parts more when they were more noisy.

                    The box is very cool!

                    great work!

I agree about the black. Better before. That's absolutely lovely work mate. Well done! As for V-Ray sparks...the chaos team should use 'em as their logo, that would be cool!

                              PS - nice subtle grain.....
