Everything looks great, especially the sky on the first shot. One thing I would say though is that the car paint looks very "plastic" like to me.Check out my (rarely updated) blog @ http://macviz.blogspot.co.uk/

i agree with Macker. that sky take my eyes from car.
on second one, with that nice DOF you have, you have to blur the sky more.
btw: position of cam or wall behind in first shoot cut the edge of carbon-spoiler...
edit: i dont agree with sky! bad english, sorry.Last edited by mario74; 13-06-2013, 07:32 AM.

How have you achieved the paint? The way I'd tackle it is either:
-Use the VRay Car Paint Mtl, it's set up specifically for this kind of shot.
-Use a blend between a base paint layer and a high gloss lacquer finish.
Either way will achieve pretty good results.Check out my (rarely updated) blog @ http://macviz.blogspot.co.uk/

Currently am using vrayblnd and got one base layer with just color and then I have to metallic coats one more glossy then the other and then I have a clear coat, I use the blend because i feel I have more control over what I need the paint to do instead of using vraycarpaint. I will post up a screen shot soon, it's a bit complicated dice there are a couple colors and using with falloff and different viewing angles.
