      looks very good.

my only crit would be the tree in the l/h foreground... it looks very 'flat'
perhaps if you moved it over to the left so that the trunk wasn't showing on the image but the foliage still showed?

it might frame the image a little better.

Sweet mood. The lighting is really nice and realistic. I love the water & the duks ! Funny . Are the trees post process ?
One thing : maybe you can make more evident the thickness of the table's plate. Because of its position in the pic, (first plan I mean) we see this kind of detail. I know it has something to do with the reflection... Did you use a Hdri on the environnement ? I say that because there is a weir light effect on that table. May be I'm wrong.
Atherwise I love your pic. It make me fell in hollydays. Bravo Themaxxer

Nice image, themaxxer! Good clear colors and a nice blend between light and shadow. Would you mind sharing the grass material?
            Cheers,

                    hi all

@s0real: yes this tree looks flat. but I had no time left to make tests for the details! maybe I will make an update...

@doan: thanks for C&C. the trees are bitmap trees made with a free plugin, just mapped, nothing special. few adjustements made on each map in max -> output, colormap...
the table. the only thing I could say, no time for details! I didn't use hdri only environment.

@TJE: do you know the topic with the sheeps made of grass. thats my grass!

@niksoftarg: for the trees look the @doan.

                    thanks for C&C
                    best regards themaxxer

                        hey mate,

indeed a amazing render, glasses ... GI... deph and reflections, everything at your right place. I was thinking a few day ago, wich should be the best aproachment in order to lit a scene like yours, because i can see at your job the same as i can see at deneb houses and at others great artists over here, what i mean is a sort of atmosphere created by gi and soft shadows who makes as everything looks like real. I have been trying plenty of times to reach this and would like to ask you somethings: the amount of gi is reaching by increasing the amount of dist tresold? if yes, tell me, could a huge direct cut of the amount of gi in the scene? i am asking this because when i begin to study light , i put all of my materials white and they are so nice this way... indeed we realize gi atmosphere around the scene, but when i put real materials i loose this nice afect. Could you tell me something about this? you or anyother good soul wich could clarify a bit more my mind about this points?
im sorry if this is a bit confuse, i hope you understand
                        best regards to everybody

Really nice but - although the house is meant to be brand new i would suggest to put a little bit of weathering/structure onto the building parts (wall, shingles, window frames and the painted wooden stuff). To me it looks a bit too flat.

Nice Scene Maxxer, Especially the water.
Can you explain the process of creating your water? modeling and materials? I've looked at the post thread from Vlado and I just can't figure it out. Maybe a quick tutorial? Please Please Please...

                            Thanks in advance.
