    freak:
I think he intention left out the "cking"

    spirit1:
Very very nice, although the tassles seem far to stiff for that type of pillow.

        ahh ok nice

Actually i think it should be a mixture of up and down wrinkles, it would look better i think, as not all wrinkles go down IMHO

No problem but the fabric texture you will have to find on your own i will send you the mat file but without texures then you can choose of your on fabrics just put them in the diffuse channel

It sure looks good, the only thing that "gives" it away imho is that there is not any "roughness" in the highlights that turns "away"..
The fabric looks quite rought to me, and in the white parts facing away the fabric looks ultra smooth..

                  fabric.mat

Here is the final updated version canged the tassles and the wrinkles.

and here is the material but you have to put a bump and a fabric map on your own just tweak around with the self illumination value to reach a resault that satisfy you.

                    nice!!...thanks for the fabric....

I like the wrincles better on the velvet...more realistic....
as for the tassles I like their direction (not as stiff as the first) but I'm not too found of the wrincles on them...just a presonal prefference I suppose.

                    I like the rose...nice touch.

I like the tassles. The problem is that we are sitting here concentrating on a pillow.... and not much else... stick that pillow in a good 3d scene so that it no longer is the focus and it will look just fine.

Did you do the desaturated version in photoshop? There's some weird stuff going on on the floor!

                          Great material and model!

Looks nice...mmmm could do with a sleep now, too bad i just got into work hehe.

Just out of curiosity, is the pattern around the pillow supposed to be printed or embroyded?

                            When's the bed coming?

The velvet texture looks great. I don't like the obvious tiling on the gold print around the edges though. there are places where it is clearly clipping itself and other areas where a dark section near the top really gives away the tiling.

the wrinkles on the pillow are nice but I liked the ones on the first version as well.

I think the flower petals could use some translucency to soften them up. they look a bit stiff and too opaque.

Flipside: yes i did it in photoshop i don't understand what you mean weird stuff explain can't see anything.

Matt_3d: didn't think so far i where just focust to make the fabric surface look realistic.

vance3d: I have notice the tilling to shall change that i have to say though that this wasn't made to be perfect just looking to make a good fabric texture, as for the flower petals i started with a tranclucency material but i understan that it can cope with opacity maps i mean 100% clearness as i used that for each petal.

                                someone hwo knows?
