  • Picket Mead Houses - Exteriors

    Hello all,

    This is a commissioned job of "four luxury contemporary homes set within the enclosed private grounds of an existing ecclesiastical mansion. The architectural language of the homes has been inspired by practice research into local vernacular typologies found within the conservation area and the wider rural landscape beyond."

    Work was a bit heavy because it was four houses plus an old house and their interiors. Amount of images needed was pretty high. We now post some of our favourite exteriors.

                Yes, its very simple actually.
                Used some igrass models and distributed them using forest pack pro.
                Distribution type is full with simple variance in the rotation and scale.
                Also used forest color to have some random tunes here and there.
                There´s also another different grass going on with Group1 type of distribution.

                And of course tweaked a bit the Clusters value. Used 100cm if i remember correctly.

                    Hey,

                    your grass is looks great!

                    I just wish there would be a company creating a set of grass already create with forest pack or multiscatter.
                    Mine are always looking too "Carpet" or too consistent, you find the right spot

                      Thanks guys!

                      3LP, i think igrass has some pre defined sets of grass using multiscatter. But i wouldnt advice using MS. Its too heavy for viewport and takes longer to render. Tought i dont know if they have improved it in the latest versions.

                      Steve, HDRI is in a dome light. VRay fog was created using just a Gizmo Box and then tweaked it a bit using VRay atmosphere channel. Nothing of direct light involved.
