This is a personal project that I designed some weeks ago so after some modifications finally the model is updated and it's the first pass before final renderings
modeled in Skechup (house and Site)
illumination only a domelight with HDRI by Vizpark
Forestpack was used for landscaping and grass.

    C & C are welcome.

    Looks very realistic...
    BUT
something seems off in all 3 pics. Can't put my finger on it but its almost like the exposure is too dark, or the grading is a tad too much
Maybe try adding some brightness contrast or a bit of a curve in photoshop?
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Thanks Morne for your feedback....the problem is I didn't track what I did in photoshop, I was playing around......I also used the same settings for all the cameras so they are minor differences in color when the view turn toward the sun.

        Hey,

Looks like there might be too much magenta in them...
A bit more exposure or boost with curves in Photoshop might help the sunlight pop more.
        Otherwise looking good

Contemporary house in Minnesota? Sorry, I am confused .

They look really nice. Most of the stuff I do for my MN work, is 3' stone base, lap siding, and shakes in the gable. I would like to see one of these on a lake up here.

I'm not a huge fan of the composition or crop on these - it doesnt flatter the architecture at all.
seems like someones just walked around a building and taken very quick snapshots on auto, and with architecture like that (multiple layered forms) it makes it look messy.

Bobby, it's a Lake view home in West Bloomington...

About the views, they are more a design tool than marketing material, but I'll use them to explain the project to investors in conjunction with the sketchup model.

Bobby, the idea is contemporary specs homes in MN... Something a little bit different from what you usually see here... You already mentioned how they look like.

                    The updates look much better!

But there's still something off. Whatever you did with the updates, do some more of that
                    Kind Regards,
                    Morne

                      Hi there,
I think it is the scale of the concrete what is off. The concrete blocks looks too small to me compared to the tension-rod holes. (sorry for the English terms)
Or maybe my eye is misleading me.

The maps are from arroway, I used the scale that they have for that specific map.... I agree about the size but It would look better if it's bigger

Nice work....although I agree it lacks some sparkle.

I think a bit more reflection here & there would really help add some life
                          Hope this helps

Thanks for the input guys, I'm adding a coat of reflection to the wood siding.... I had the z passes done but those images don't have the DOF yet.
The cameras are close to the house to get the details for the investors, selling contemporary design is not easy here in MN... The second round will be for the buyers.

                            Thanks again,

                              Updated Views:
Wood siding has a reflective coat (vray blend)
                              Dark metal more reflective
Wood frames, before I had for first time (bercon wood in linear), the horizontal wood has horizontal grains and vertical of course vertical grains. the previous shown everything as it should be but after sending the rendering, bercon didn't take the mapping direction, everything was vertical. Now, it has a regular wood map with a reflective coat.

all the images have DOF, after i re sized them to post them here of course the affect is not that strong as the Hres images.

                              C&C welcome.
