This is my current project. Almost there. Just wondering what you guys thought of it. I have a scenery photo that I will insert tomorrow.

    C & C Welcome.

Seems a little blurry and the marble island seems to float.
Mabe higher GI settings and a bit more contrast.
    Nice otherwise.

      Thanks for the comments Mike.
I made your suggested changes and added a few things as well.

      Any other comments are welcome.

      Cheers,

lighting is good so are most of the materials.....the only comment is on the couch to the right...the geometry/ and texture seem a bit to perfect nd therefore distracting....

        nice work!!

Try increasing the Hsph. value - there are a few splotches (especially on the ceiling). This should give a smoother result.

Also adjust the background image a bit (saturation & contrast), to fit better with the interior......

Maybe you can change the spots in the ceiling's shadows to area shadows - the light on the right's shadow seems a bit crisp.

          Otherwise quite nice! Well done!

Thanks for the good comments guy's

cocolas: I agree with you on the couch. I just dropped that one in from a library of lounges. Didn't have enough time to change it. I will do so for future projects though. It is distracting though shame it's in the foreground.

Suiciety: I have since rendered a image with higher Hsph and it has eliminated the splotches. Stainless Steel on the fridge looks good too.
With the view. I would normally composite in photoshop but the image I was supplied with was not big enough (client wanted A3 4960 x 3500 pixel image @ 300dpi) so i tried mapping it to a partial cylinder and rendered the hole thing together. It gave the clearest result. I was using HSV Exponential and just couldn't seem to get the GI receive/generate settings perfect.
The client was happy with the result though.

            Thanks again.

            Chris.
