first post of my red sprite wip. the grille is just an opacity map, i'm going to model it instead, not very happy with it. or the lighting.

just starting out in vray - c+c much appreciated.

Yes, some better lightining would help a lot and some metal textures on the window frame should be reformulated.
And i kind of like these wheels but you could try other kind "*".
Sorry to ask but is there any door on this model?

    Despite all my crits
i whope this fine work comes out as
pretty as it´s been coming out until know!

thanks, trying to keep the lighting subtle but it does need some work.

there are doors - it's just that the edge isn't showing so well. the door handles are on the inside of the door

I like it. Very clean modeling The materials all look nice but as you said the lighting isn't quite there. I'd like to see it with some blue in the light that appears to be a garage opening (is that a VRay light? Crank it up if so ) and then maybe even a point light with a slight orange tint inside the room garage.

          Nice one NikVH.

Turn the bump down on the concrete floor a little.
          Could you post your settings??

          Cheers

i think the main problem is about the camera's location. Light coming from the back dont create a good contrast.

and i feel that the car should be parking a little different if this is a garage and if you enter it from where the light is coming from.

AA shouldn't have to be that high. try the default of -1,2

The lighting looked much better before with the highlights only where they needed to be.

looks great Nik, turn your AA down to -1,2 no need for it to be that high, also turn the subdivisions on you VRay lights up a little you can see a little blotchyness on the wall behind the car.

Maybe you could add some "dirt" to the concrete floor for a little more realism'
