I mistakenly posted in the 3DS Max part of the forums by error. Doh! :/ We worked with V-Ray for Maya so if any mod reads this, feel free to move it to the Maya Image Uploads forum instead.

V-Ray can eat polygons for breakfast no doubt, but not Maya's viewport though! That would've been sluggish to say the least...THankfully vrmesh exists
