The black one in my opinion. Just doesn't appear as refined as other elements. break it up with a subtle texture or something of the like. Of course thats depending on what your going for. When I create Arch Vis work, I tend to try and create a piece of art as supposed to clean elements that a client would rather see.

Nicolaas, the disco started when you put the B&O plasma sceen in... Check the materials.

I agree with stellar, you need to adjust your colormapping to get some deeper shadows.

I still can't see what's going on with the wall where the light is coming from - it does resemble translucency. Odd?

      Otherwise it's coming along nicely.

It looks like a vray light the length of the wall set to invisible and 2 sided. A low enough multiplier and it might not blow out the wall enough to keep it from looking like that. My best guess.

          Hiyaa.. .

DOn't understand what you are trying to say percydaman. You mean that my curtain produces too much light ?... I have only 1 vray light behind my curtain. The curtain is a vray material with a tiles map and refraction with glossiness...

The carnaval was a combination of a vray material and imported geometry I think, because applying another material to the new objects didn't do anything.. deleting them complete did it.. still didn't have the time to reimport them. Strange...

I'm sure it's a material issue on the imported object(s).

Import the object into a new-MAX scene, and do the materials (all Vray) there. Merge this into your current room-scene (I sometimes find this easier than doing it in my main scene).

Regarding the Carnival - Someone didn't maybe sneak in overnight while you were asleep and have a paintball fight?
