Harrah's Casino Guest Suite Animation

Hi V-Rayers. Here is an animation that we just recently finished. The majority of this animation was rendered with V-Ray; only the bathroom scene was rendered with Octane Render.

We used IR + LC. The interior design is a little "flamboyant" for my taste, and I can't take credit for it. Just keep in mind that this IS a casino!

Hey man, I realise this is finished and from your Vimeo description you were up against it time wise but I have a couple of crits if that's ok? Nothing too in-depth, just a few things that leapt out to me as I watched it.

The gold sofa in the main room looks very small (and this may be the case) but there are a few reference points that exaggerate this, mainly the bottle of wine on the table, which proportionally looks very tall, which in turn makes the sofa look smaller.

The refraction on the wine/brandy glasses is really strong making them look as though they are solid glass.

There's a distinctive 'wobble' on the camera moves that looks very strange in this context (i.e. a smooth, commercial presentation), especially the pan across the bedroom and the vertical lift in the bathroom at the end. It does give the subconscious impression that a human is operating the camera but it also suggests that they can't quite get the shot that they're after.
