  • Milk pouring

    Hello guys

heres my newest R&D project. Goal was to create a production quality milk pouring scene.

    cell size 0.14 cm
    total cells 3.9 million
    sim time 3 frames/minute
    render time (HD with moblur&DOF) 30 minutes/frame

I use Phoenix FD and Vray nightly for Maya with Linux.

        Volume loss ?
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Well, compared to my first tests this preserves the liquid volume quite well (if you mean that?), I get the surface to rise where I want it.
With first tests it just stops to fill the glass in some point no matter how long I keep pouring.

I didnt make anything for the simulation. I made these first tests in June and continued after the summer, so something has been changed between nightlies related to this issue.
