  • Proxies in nature

Just a quick render using proxies to show its potential

Every object in the render is 3D.
I think that the poly count is about 50.000.000!!! (I don't know for a fact because some of the trees can only be importet as vrmeshes into sketchup)
Total work time: 4 hours (scene build-up and render)

The trees, grass etc are all from http://www.evermotion.org/

      Hi,

Great meeting up with you in Stockholm!

I love this render, great handling of vegetation and the lighting is superb. I've still not got a grip on tree leaf materials, do you use reflection? 2-sided material?

      Regards,
      /Jackson

Hi, great render. Shows just how much of an upgrade 2.0 really is...
Same question as Jackson, how to setup leaf materials?
