  • Irridiance map, or the glass? or??

I'm a new vray user, reading a lot in this forum. It's great to get all the knowledge of you vray pro's.
But i'm working on this scene, my first with vray and have no idea why this blemish in the red circle is happens. The scene is rendered with one light source, and vray GI environment (skylight). GI with irridiance map, and the standard very high settings. If someone can help me, thanks a lot. I'm also happy about texturing and lighting critic. http://www.qbus-cgi.ch/Forumkompri.html

What was it modelled in? MAX?

I'm asking, 'cause I sometimes get the same from models imported from ACAD/Datatcad..........

In Max the face is one side, so you don't always see it (usually happens with Booleans in the modelling software), but just investigate (switch on two-sided in viewport), and you should find the "lost" face.

    Hope this helps.
