    Hello everybody,
I'd like to present two scenes that I decided to fill with proxy greenery instead of photoshop one.
I'm quite satisfied with the results, although testing the proxy setups to get the right one equals the time otherwise used for photoshop postproduction.. (at least for my skills)
(Each shot went through heavy photoshop modifications though, to get right balance and feeling).

Anyway, proxies work great in 2.49 exporter. Very stable, once configured, I had no single case of any rendering bug.

I'm curious to hear your comments...

Looks a little bright on my monitor but very nice, very ambitious with the architecture, people, trees and all. Keep em coming.

The grass looks great (and the buildings, cars, lighting, and people too). Excellent.

          Tak trzymaj! :]

Everything looks very nice although maybe grass might bend a little more and be in some places shorter. Once again I ask about trees - ngplant?

Thanks very much for all good words.
Obviously there is still a long long way to get even near to this for example:
            http://www.evermotion.org/vbulletin/sho ... hp?t=81175
but the good news is, the V2B integration today has everything that's needed to handle such scene and effects..
The more I use it the more i like (both Blender and V-ray).

..About the grass. Yes, the meshes could be prepared and used in more professional way in terms of realism. Hope to have some new ideas at next project.

..The trees were made with nGPlant. But this time I realized that they will need future remodelling in blender because of lack of cohesive, visible silhouettes. They're to transparent comparing to commercial 3D trees.

Voytov, these all look amazing. I love the grass! In your 4th picture you have some transparent people on the grass. I see that a lot in archvis stuff. Why do you archvis guys do that?

                Re: Proxies

Hi, generally I'm not very enthusiastic about putting people imagery into my scenes. My main passion is architecture.
In this particualar case that couple in the corner was needed to humanize the atmosphere of image that has to sell the project, but they were to intense in terms of image contrast. Further on - thy are clipart images - I didn't want to force illusion they are from the same "world" that the architectural 3d scene was.
As I talk with project managers, they quite often tell me - "ok, you started to use really fine viz tools over recent years, but thats not true we need 100% realistic/photo realistic images. We often need atractive/over-realistic ones instead..."
