  • Center for Architecture

This is a project I did to help out with a friend's thesis midterm. It's for a proposed architecture center here in Ottawa.

Timeline was super tight: got the drawings and references Saturday night, re-started yesterday afternoon due to major changes and finished tonight, with some time left for her to put together panels for tomorrow's presentation. That said, attention to detail wasn't the ultimate goal here, however I hope I've managed to hold up some sort of standard of quality...

Really good work, especially with this tight timeline.
I like the overall atmosphere in the images, and the texture for the facades is well done.
Good examples of what is possible with the new script

I like 3rd and 4th the most, they tell stylish and interesting story of the building.
      I also like color harmonies..
I'm impressed with the quality which is simply good. And think I wouldn't be able to get to the right point with such number of shots and such deadline conditions.

Great work! Render quality and the mood are impressive.
Could you share the render times?

            Thanks, guys

cyberlecs: Each image took around an hour for the final, which was at 1920x1080. I probably could've been faster except I kept having issues with specks of white showing up on blurry reflections.

Lion: What do you mean? That's about as textured as it got.
