you sure got that leather down pat! Great image, but as before, Id suggest not turning on lamps for the sake of turning them on. I think it tends to look wrong to the eye, especially with amount of light coming from other locations.

You know I finally have to comment on your work lately. It's all truly incredible. You are definitely one of the people taking Vray (and CG imagery for that matter) to the next level. Your senses for lighting, modeling, texturing and detail all top notch. Many of us here would be happy just to be as good in one of those areas. Speaking of modeling, do you use straight Max for your modeling or something else? I'm personally an AutoCAD modeler and have never been able to get into modeling with Max, but the amount of stuff you have been able to produce lately and the detail of your modeling makes me think I really need to try harder to learn how to model in Max.
i have one minor suggestion - 'carve' the doors up into pieces - they are not generally made from one piece. typically the sides are vertical and the top middle and bottom pieces are horizontal.
Now Mike, don't go temping me, I could build that pooh in ACAD (w/ meshes). Of course I'll be gone for a couple days doing it.
Now that arm chair he's sitting on would be virually impossible in ACAD.
BTW I do use Max for things like that, I actually meant I still use ACAD for architectural modeling. (I hope this doesn't start a ACAD vs Max debate. )
Hey Linda while we're now the subject of modeling, I read in another post that you were self taught (and very well I might add). So if you don't mind me asking, how did you learn? Any secrets you can share on where you learned your modeling and texture skills?
