Hi, I'm new to this forum so I'd like to warmly greet everyone I've been using Blender for about 2 or 3 years and last week I decided to finally move to 2.56 version and try to get used to v-ray workflow under Blender. I've been already using V-ray for 3ds Max for commercial purposes, but I honestly find the Blender version much easier, "logically" organized and more user friendly
This is a very short shoot made both for testing purposes, but also as a part of of bigger project I hope finish one day. It shows the hall, called "The Void", from the Jewish Museum in Berlin. This building was always inspiring me so I decided to make a short animation about it.

So far, the shot has 120 frames, rendered in about 45 hours on standard Core i7 Processor. I've used Light Cache + Brute Force method of rendering to avoid Irradiance flickering which could be removed only on very high settings (but the render times were very similar so I've used Brute Force as it is much safer and gives much better shading than IrM).
I've merged beauty, diffuse, raw reflection and raw gi passes in After Effects and added some volumetrics, color grading etc.
Hope to start working with other shots, big thanks for continuous developing and improving the script
