Nice work Paul I always like those cut aways only Crit I have is the glass railings in the lobby look a little flat, missing those reflections that really pop.

nice work cocolas .. i often do the same style of ceiling off ... if find it so much easier to light the scene.. they look great, do you put the RPC in on photoshop or max .... cos when i use RPC with vray they always come out too Saturated and look odd ?

this time I put them in strainght in max, and then add a bit of a shadow under those that you can see the feet of.

I think this time they blended in farly well, lighting wise.......but yeah, I know what you saying about the saturation of them.....also sometimes because of Gi they tend to wash out.....
plus render times go up w/ rpcs, when calc GI passes....

this time I didn't have time to add them in, in PS.......althoghout that way you have more control over them.

as for the roof off views, yeah you're right about the ease of lighting ...hehe, it's nice when you don't have much time for lighting...
I pretty much have a similar lighting setup for all ovf them w/ little variations between each...

                Great images!
In the first image, RPCs on the stairs look like they are riding an escclator.

naahhh...he's just standing there...admiring the beautiful architecture :P

hehehe.....you're right, though......I looked through all the rpcs to find one that was in the process of climbing the stairs or something...but the best one I could find was that one...the walking ones didn't work either cause they look funny on the stairs.....

                      thanks...

I didn't model the blanket originally - the bed was from 3d cafe...and the blanket it's just a regular mesh......I did modify it however, w/ the FDD modifier....

Wonderful work, as usual. I really like this type of render as well. It looks like a very detailed model on a desk. Great stuff!
