      Really nice!!

What I still don't fully understand is which would be the ideal use for it? I mean, is it supposed to be used in combination with irradiance map for first diffuse bounce? I know you can use the new method for both, but, which combination does usually (from what you have tested the new method) provides the best and fastest result?
from those pictures I would guess that secondary diffuse bounces are its strongest points... but as I said... it is still not that clear to me...

      Regards,
      Hutzz

Vlado, in the last rendering of the example 1 the floor seems self iluminated. I found it too bright where it meets the right wall. Is this method less accurate than the previous one?

            it's wonderful.......

it's wonderful to know that a rendering engine like VRAY (yet excellent) is still under study to increase the quality

beautiful the images it seems to give good results in short times even if I'd like to see the machine type proc - ram etc and a test scene of interior with muche more detail (little detail I mean little objects)

Because I'd like to know if with this technique is possible to get more or less or the same detailed shadows on little details

is this lightmap solution resolution dependant?

            thank u VLADO

            about glossy reflection/refraction something news

            bye

                Hi Vlado !

                You say :
"the light-mapping approach has many advantages over the photon map"

Does it mean that Photon Mapping is obsolete or you have to use it in
                certain circumstances ??? or ???

                Thank you

                Gaƫl

exciting but a little sadness (canot forget the passed days with photon)
