Yeah, i agree with you. Due to the lack of time i used Reactor, but i couldn't test it so much. Next time i will try simcloth, that seems to give great results.
      Thaks for you comment.

            nice,

could you do one more without the uplight? I think that would look more natural.

            regards,

                  Thanks everyone.

@ Robert: this is a part of a complex building i'm currently workin' on. So at the moment i can't plan to make other render on this room. When i will have more time i will make other view, also without artificial lights.

@ Roark: this painting are downloaded from this site

                  http://artchive.floridaimaging.com/a/
change the "a" to obtain other ones....
The side is down at the moment....

                  Ciao Valerio

I'd been interested in knowing more about your lighting method.

Why use both Skylight AND area lights @ the window? Are you using the area lights with Skylight Portal option turned? If not, could you not get enough light in to the room with just the skylight & the diretional light and then use colour-mapping instead?

Yeah, i use area @ windows, but i didn't use Sylight portal, only "store with irradiance map" to spped up.
You can obtain good illumination with only Sky+Direct but you have to increase the Sky 'cause glass stops it. And this makes burned outside.

Thanks holyghost, i didn't realise that glass blocked illumination from skylight.

Does anyone know of a workaround to this problem?
