Hey all my fellow Vray fans. Boy I've gotta say that there has been some incredible work shown around here lately. It really goes to show how solid Vray is. Anyhow here’s a couple of projects I've been working on lately.

I really had a heck of a time getting those interiors to look at least halfway good with just artificial lighting. Vray does beautiful stuff with daylight interiors but boy it's tricky to get it to look as real with out daylight. The client really wanted to see the actual lights lighting the scene. Lighting in this case was with around 135 ies lights (well and a couple of vray lights to help it look better, don't tell the client though). Don’t ask about the rendering times. C/C's are always welcome. Any ideas on how to make interior lighting more realistic without daylights would be appreciated.

P.S. The are some high res versions on my websites gallery if anyone wants to see the original version. I also had to blur out those logos on the interiors due to my clients client not want to display their name.

I like the interior shot a lot......at first I didn't realize you sectioned the wall......I thought that was part of the design :P ....hehehehe.....I think that sectioning could be a little more obvious because it almost looses itself in the rest - feels almost like part of the design, so it could guide someone array.....just a thought.

so.....anyway....what were your redering times w/ those 135 ies lights ??? :P ...just courious..

I try to avoid IES when using vray as much as possoble..because of the render times I can't affort to wait that long. so even when the client wants to see "the actual correct lighting" I try spots and vray lights....I know is a cheat and IES lights look good on wall washes...but hey, time is time you know??

I love the framing on both images, but the renderings... i think they can impove something

nice images, just watch using image cell or rpc trees in the foreground, looks a little odd. Also the trees in your exterior view look like they have been copied around a few too many times.

Sorry for asking, but did you use GI on these pictures, or is it just area lights?
