  • First Time First Love...

    Hi there,

This is my first image posted on this forum...I rendered this image using Max...

I want to try doing some changes using VRAY... Any suggestions on where I should start or maybe how I could improve this image?

    Thanks..

its very good Leo and welcome to the forum.
maybe a tiny amount of glossy reflections to make it more plastic might help

          Nice work

The cord could do with a bit of a highlight. At the moment it's a little flat.
          The modelling is excellent.

            Thanks alot guys...

I will be trying to do the changes .. it is a bit frustrating at the beginning but I will get over it by time....

I also am working on some architectural renderings... just a trial and error thing..

              Im having some problems ...

Take a look at the LCD portion of the below product I designed a while ago... you will see that it has some kind of a reflection on the LEXAN material ... I did this touch-up using photoshop a long time ago (ofcourse I didnt have vray back then)

Now I would like vray to do this for me on this new Dictaphone project and am trying to setup vray to have a texture/reflection but I cant get it to work ...... any suggestions...

              Thanx in advance....

put the map/texture you want the material to reflect, in its environment channel. That should do what you need.

alternatively you can put it in the reflection overide in the vray environment rollout.....but then all materials will reflect that map....
