  • A Sample for the class

    Hi there!

I'm really happy with the new render....i know i can't compare my work with most of your work, but the results are impressive. I'm preparing some scenes to show the new benefits of the 3.0 and this is my first scene.

Hope to get the enthusiasm out of my class because now more tan ever technology is also art.

so here is my small contribution to this wonderfull forum.

    Greetings from Spain.

Ah, I quite like the image. I'm a bit unclear exactly what material the bookshelf is. If you want suggestions for the image:

Create some unique books to fill the shelves with
Improve the red texture (looks like acrylic plastic currently, this may be what it is)
I'd light the right side a bit brighter to create a bit more drama
Play with the painting material a bit, map the reflection and glossiness a bit so the layered paint reflects differently.

        NICE one!!!
Still waiting to jump on the Vray 3.0 bandwagon....financial reasons

The glow on the lamp is post or in-render?
Can you show the raw renders please?

          Hey there Martin!

No post work in this one.....the Bloom and glare functions from Vray are doing the job. So there is no RAW render hehehe....but glad you asked. This can be another good reason to think of this plugin as a good investment.

Thank you for your comment. I'm sure you will enjoy the 3.0 as much as i do (and with far better results heheh).

          Best regards.
