  • No post work

It took a while. A good one, to give birth to this one but i wanted to know if i could get a good old school "no post work" minded render. And it's alive!

My aproach is more "universal settings" than the new wave i've been seing lately. So you can imagine the benchmark on this one hehehe.

Anyway, the Word i'm looking for is "pleased".

Hope you like my render. I know there are some things to do for the trained eye but vray rocks.

    cheers!

It's lovely! The cake looks a bit burnt / saturated to me but the rest is really nice - great work!

I really like the cake/biscotti & the ceramic dishes. The cutting board and table surface feel too saturated for my taste, especially the cutting board. And is that spilt coffee on the side there? Great details and dof

Thank you ! it's nice to hear it (read it). I will try to improve it so render times won't be so cruelly long. Greetings!
Note taken about the cake Joconnell hehe.

And Cheerioboy yes there are some drops over the cutting board. Thank you too. The DOF is much understandable nmow that you handle it with only one central control. it's just neat.

        Best regards!

          Looks good

          Couple notes:

There's segmentation on the dishes, I can count the polies.
Overall it seems slightly oversaturated as everyone says. Also, could be a little more exposed.
Lastly, the chamfer on the handle of the hero teacup seems a little sharp, and the materials could use some more glossy reflections.

A no-post render is admirable. Now that I think of it, I might be relying on post work too much lately.

Jackpot! i knew someone was going to mention it. hehe. It was only one more iteration. Only one!.

Anyway, about the color i think we have a winner, 3 out of 3 wanted less saturation in some part or the whole render. So more desaturated will be.

As for the reflections i wanted it to be a Little old so i was afraid of setting too much reflected áreas. i still don't handle well that part. Thank you guys.
