  • Interior, and Exterior

This is another project that i was rendering over the weekend, both images needed to be 10000px wide also.

For the interior, I had to keep out a lot of details so that the rendering would complete in time. But i want to add more stuff, and get comments.

I dont like the exterior architecture, so im not to worried about making that any better.

    Thanks,
    Travis

its a cool little script that takes your image. slices it into region then using net rendering to distribute the render over a network. up to a maximum of 5x5 regions (25 sections) its a work around not having DR for now. but DR wil deffinately be a better method once its finished

da_elf, i wasnt able to get that working with vray, Im using viz4, and no matter what it didnt work. I Needed to render larger than that, but thats all my single machine could do.

Maybe i didnt have the right things running? Are you supposed to have vray nodes running or the network rendering servers for viz?

why would you need to render an image like this with this depth and detail at 10000px ? I would say 5000px across would be fine for a Digital C print up to 6'x6'. Anything bigger usually uses a different printing process for viewing from a distance. Trust me, you dont need it for this rendering. For something like this I;d say 3500x___ but then again I dont know what you're using this for.

I cannot say at this moment where this facility is going. There is a battle between 2 citys. The 2 Cities are in Georgia, and Kentuky. But im not sure what the cities are.

This is a 650 Desk Call center, with like 800 employees. Express Scripts, is a perscription supplier. So its a big deal where they annnouce, and they havent announced yet.

cgrande, They are for a 40" wide board that will be on display at an annoucement ceremony. I dont know what the best quility of a print this size would be, but 12000px is 300dpi. so i tried to do that. The client wanted 600 dpi, but i couldnt do it.

600dpi for a 40" wide board is mega over kill. How is it being printed? large format inkjet?

Yes large format injet, but the 600dpi maybe ignorance on the part of the client. I would assume 144dpi is more than enough for a large board.

                          yeah, 144 or 200dpi max.....I wouldn't go above that...it's overkill.

yea at the most I use 200 at that size but usually 150dpi is more than adaquate.
