Hi guys,

Here are a few renders we worked on recently for the launch of the new 'S Class' Princess Yacht range. The interiors could have done with some more work, particularly on the fabrics/upholstery but as usual we were limited on time!

The exterior running shot is all CG other than the wake which we composited over the VRay displaced surface.

Day shot HDRI was from CGSKIES and interior sunset shot was from CG-SOURCE (I think)

Looks great! The wake out of the back of the boat seems a little wide but the water & fg wake are spot on.

Boat design itself is beautiful too.

Lovely! My brain wants there to be more ocean on the right of the first image as it feels like it's about to hit the edge of the crop, but it works really well.

Thanks Guys and yes this new design is really slick.

cubicle - agreed on the wake, was a bit tricky getting right as the perspective was quite different on the source photograph.

AJ - yeah I see what you mean. Although this image actually extends to the left more (I cropped it to put on here), it was for a double page spread so the boat needed to sit fully on the right hand page

mmmm love yachts! And you made a great 3D of one.
I wanted to do 3D for Sunseeker, pitched for the outsourcing job like 10 years ago and never got it
