      hmm didnt read all in this thread.

      but to decrease colorbleed without decreasing the intensity of light that gets reflected, you should use the new 1.475.

      in the gi rollout in the renderdialog, you can turn down colrbleed alone.

      its what i have missed very much, while it still could be done better in materials or object settings.

        in pre 1.475 versions you have to cheat. Make for example, a less saturated green material (if you have a green wall) and calculate an irradiance map with that material, then put the original material back but render using a saved irradianca map.
