This is an added HOV lane...cut up the middle and split about 10'. Clouds were added with rayflect 4 seasons (not recomended)

Yep. The sky is very jarring/distracting. A simple gradient from a soft blue to white at the horizon would work fine.

The problem I find with replacing cloudy skies with nice blue sky photos is that the lighting in the original photo doesn't match the new sky anymore.
Your proposed road looks like it's being lit by a good amount of Sun, but the exisiting photo is very overcast. Consequently, I think your additional has a little too much yellow in the road.

          Very nice camera match though.

you can match the colors, just find something similar to the original. And then match the chromatics.or use on both some some little colorizing, that both will looks from one image. Or even you can make some hdri out of the sky image, just with a very slight multipliers, (saturation reduced, pixel values scaled to high gynamic range). (you place the original image to the background and the new one, into the vray enviroment))
            that will do the trick.
