Getting really nice. I'd be interested in seeing what'd happen if you got a different type of architecture to work on. It seems like your area has a tonne of rich woods and craft style buildings whereas I'm more of a sparse and airy person - would love to see what you'd do with a bertrand benoit type of room!

      Nice work Bobby!

There are a few things that leap out to me in terms of the scale being off. Mainly the chairs that are pulled up to the island, they feel really high - like if I sat on one the tops of my thighs would be higher than the worktop. Also, the handles on all of the cupboards seem really small to me, like you'd have to pinch them with your thumb and forefinger to grip them.

Tiny bit too much contrast for my taste, I'd rather open up some of the more shadowy sections to the left and right of frame - that might be my monitor though. Looks great.

I am tweaking the lighting now and will post an update. I agree... I need more even lighting, which is always an issue for my stuff.

drop the reinhard burn value and increase the env light to double what you currently have. it's good, but very dark.

I tend not to use Reinhard, but that's just my hang up. I ended up turning off all my lights; turning them back on one-by-one and adjusting them to look correct. I'll post an update tomorrow.

I was gonna ask about that ceiling, is it actually white or coloured?

I like the closeup though the right apple looks odd with a completely straight edge.

I'm really not sold on the lighting, to me the backplate being sunny doesn't work with the artificial interior lighting. If you had an evening shot then that lighting would work but it just doesn't feel like its a daytime shot where light should be flooding into that space and illuminating the surfaces accordingly. I think that backplate would look better with the light quality found in images like these http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...res-collection. Are you using LWF?

That was an earlier one, and it was pretty good; the outside glass turned out good.
