I agree that its a nice simple test. It was around 3 million foam and 3 million splash particles. I like alembic because its read directly from vray proxy loader, where as maya's alembic actually failed to load the particles. There was a problem with velocity though, I could not get rf to produce vector from mesh. It was a hybrid domain.
