Another silly take on a gold statue, only this time it's the Emmy's turn







Base of the award modelled in 3ds Max, the main Emmy herself modelled in ZBrush and the cloth was quickly made with Marvelous Designer.

Nothing hugely exciting to report in the materials, lighting or rendering on this one. I was lucky enough to borrow an actual Emmy award from a friend who has won one which is pretty much the best reference you could ask for!

Awww Love this! Much more personality than the original statue ;P

And I really like how the cloth turned out. Is it purely marvelous or some additional tweaks in zbrush?

Thanks! The cloth is straight out of Marvelous Designer. The original artwork was cut to a plain blue background but I wanted to add a little something extra, so added the base as an avatar in MD, dropped a rectangle underneath it and pulled it around for about 30 seconds. It really is an incredible program!
