Because of your camera height I have the feeling that the house is for a leprauchaun (n/o). It feels a bit out of scale because there's no real reference. Personally I would place it at eye level or lower. Other than that I think the colors are a bit too saturated. I did a little photoshopping and came up with this. As I don't have access to the original there's a bit of a graininess in the sky because of the color/contrast tampering. Just my two cents of course. Great work otherwise.

I did notice that the camera was a little higher than my usual, however, the client liked the image so I didn't change anything other than what was requested. Here is an update.

I prefer the update to the original. Maybe something in between the 2 leaning towards the update. Maybe 40 to 60 ratio

It looks very good but I also agree that it doesn't look very photorealistic.

Maybe the glass? My glass wasn't cooperating; much too transparent. Also, I went light on material settings. Basically, everything is diffused with bump.

lovely model! There is something that looks kind of over-saturated, HDR-ish. Did you save as 16 or 32-bit and then did HDR-toning? Might try reducing the contrasti-ness. The global lighting (the shadows are not very deep) seems too even for such a high contrast in your materials.

Many of your images has that hazy, dreamy look. Do you typically add some filter or something in post? Maybe you went a bit too far? Having said that I like the style, looks a bit retro.

I did a little tone mapping and yes, a little glow. When I get some time I'll back it off a tad.

I think the trees in the front ground don't look realistic enough and the glass is very reflective almost like a mirror...I think those two things are pushing you back a bit in realism.
and the metal roof needs some glossy reflection as well.

Agreed. Both, I work over many times, but both fought back. I think darkening the glass in post can solve that, but I'll have to render again for the foreground trees.

the foreground trees are not projecting any shadow on the grass...maybe in post like old days may work better.

It's like the glass doesn't have any refraction; do you have affect shadows ticked?

I mistakenly disabled refraction raytrace from the scene, which removed all the refraction channels.
